The Tatum Times!

It's only the 2nd day of school and Tater has done a big project, The Tatum Times! It's awesome. It describes her favorite things, her hero, an exciting thing that happened this summer, etc! Great Job, Baby Girl! Super cute!

The Nationals Caravan!

There were 3 car loads of us that traveled down to the race and the kids got to write on all the windows , "announcing" their presence in the vehicles! It was fun and the kids loved it, which made it that much better. I forgot to take pics of the other 2 vehicles, so I just had mine to post! Stocky is Slingshot and Tater is our T-Bomb! Perfect race names for our munchkins . Next races out of state , Chula Vista in CA and then Boulder City, NV in October! Our family motto : Have Bike (and trophy) , will travel ! :) Ha!

1st day of school!

Today was the 1st, last day of Elementary School for our sweet little Miss Tatum! She is the big kid on campus, and it's soooo hard to believe! Stockton is right behind her, in 5th grade.... Which is very very sad as he is the baby! Oh how I wish they were still munchkins. :( I will have to start preparing Brian now, for Tatum's legal "dating" age! He still has about 4 years, but I'm telling u, he's gonna flip out!
Both kids were really excited to be back in school... Needless to say, I was quite thrilled too ! Wahoo! I thoroughly enjoyed my 1st day of school, hope they did too! :)

Moto Sheets from Nationals!

Here are the moto sheets that are posted an hour before races start. Taters moto sheet is kinda blurry, cuz it looked like they had to tape it together so the tape kind of messed up the pic, but u can see what the sheets look like. They have the Childs name, age , rank, moto number, and gate numbers for all qualifying and main races.

Tater takes 5th !

What a day! We started practice at the track at 8am this morning and then races started right after. They ended at about 4p! At our local track in Chandler every fri nite, there are usually about 25-30 motos and races start to finish are about 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. Today , there were 206 moto's..... Hence, our very long day! It was a blast though. Both kids were on fire, and were so fun to watch. Stockton had about 3x as many boys in his bracket than tater did.. And was in 4th place but crashes at finish line. He was almost more sore than sad, but raced such an awesome race! Way to go, bud! Tatum raced an awesome race too and placed 5th in the main! So she got her 1st BIG trophy with her name on it! Congrats baby girl ! Nothing makes parents prouder than to see their kids do so well, and enjoying what they are doing. I must say, tonite we are even prouder! This was a humongous race... People from all over our 50 states, so this was in accomplishment to even have been in the race to start with ! Hard work always pays off, and our kids have been training soo hard, and will continue to train hard as they have 2 more big races coming up , before November ... This time, out of State! Keep up the great work kiddos! We love you!

Super exciting for our family today! In about 2 hrs, both Tatum and Stockton are racing in the National Race, here in Tucson. They are super nervous but excited too. This is a HUGE deal, and they have trained and trained for this opportunity . The most fabulous thing about it......? It's indoors ! Wahooooooo! So 70 degrees in here and 113 outside . :). Good luck T-Bomb and Slingshot! We are soo proud of you and how far u've come . We love u!

Good Ol' unusual AZ weather!

Hard to believe that it's August 1st and was only 87degrees out this afternoon. It's been stormy and super muggy out the last few days but we have taken advantage of the coolness and spent more time outside than norm. :) Quality brotherly/sisterly bonding.
